Lynx entertainment’s next big thing, Kuami Eugene, has revealed that aside his own songs, he makes a lot of money writing for some of the biggest stars in the Gh music industry.
The young singer-songwriter actually has an impressive list of ‘clients’ who he’s written mostly hit tracks for.
One of them is Mzvee, his label mate. He’s also written for Becca, Efya, Adina Nana Yaa and many others.
In a recent interview on Joy Fm, Kuami revealed that songwriting is a very lucrative venture from which he makes a lot of money.
“I am making money. I made big money from ‘Meniwaa’ the song I wrote for Becca. I produced it. Nana Yaa featuring MzVee, I wrote and produced it. I took money for writing and I took money for producing. I am making money,” he said.
Eugene also talked about Mzvee, who he says helped him a lot to become well known in the industry when he started making his own songs.
“[Mzvee] is a big sister. People got to know me because MzVee featured me on her ‘Rewind’ song.” Eugene revealed.
“If she says she is taking me money for all she has done for me. I can’t actually pay for that.”
