‘You Don’t Need A Degree To Win Goal King’ — Stephen Sarfo Hits Back At Ghanaians Mocking His English (AUDIO)

Local Black Stars striker Stephen Sarfo scored four goals to lead Ghana to the 2017 Wafu Cup, also winning the tournament’s goal king award, but it wasn’t his on field achievements which went viral.

Instead, it was his inability to express himself in English at the end of the game when he was being interviewed for winning the man of the match award that went viral.

Ghanaians mercilessly mocked Sarfo on social media for his ‘horrible’ English, and the forward has now responded.

Speaking on Adom Fm, the Berekum Chelsea striker said one does not need a degree to play football or to win a goal king award.

Sarfo said he was simply concentrating on winning a  call up to the Black Stars therefore he’s not bothered about the trolling.

The local Black Stars lashed Nigeria by 4-1 in the final of the Wafu Cup in Cape Coast Sunday, with Stephen Sarfo contributing two goals.
