An elderly Ghanaian woman, well into her 50s, has been caught stealing in a department store in London.
The woman packed some things into her bag and tried leaving the store without paying, but luck run out for her when security grabbed her before she could make her escape.
In a delicious piece of irony, the guard who caught her was a Ghanaian himself.
In audio available to GhanaCelebrities.Com, the security guard confronts the woman after arresting her. First she tried denying she was there to steal, before later admitting it and trying to blame the devil.
As if being caught stealing wasn’t shameful enough, the entire security team guessed she was a Ghanaian when she was spotted on the CCTV. This embarrassed the security guard who insisted the thief could not be from Ghana.
