“Since I Got Married, I Have Got A New Appreciation For Women"- Jay Foley

General Manager of the Accra-based radio station, Live 91.9 FM and host of Live Breakfast Club, Jay Foley says marriage has made him responsible.
He talks about his journey in an interview with Showbiz. He says marrying three years ago has left him more responsible in the sense that he now feels he has someone’s daughter – his wife – and a daughter to cater for and his decisions either would affect them negatively or positively.
He added marriage renewed his appreciation for women— he no longer thinks about himself for his family as a whole.
“The way I think is different. Now, I think of business every time; where to get what, how to get it, when to get it. I don’t hang out as often as I used to when I was not married.” Foley said.
“You know when you are not married, you live as you like, you do what makes you happy and don’t really think of whether it will hurt someone or not but now I don’t really have that choice.
“Since I got married, I have got a new appreciation for women. Now it is not all about me, it is about us. I know what people go through from pregnancy to childbirth, what goes into taking care of a child and all that. It is not easy at all.
“Also, I now get involved in things that will better my life business-wise, enhance my brand and put me in a positive light” he added.
