Francesca Duncan Williams known in showbizness circles as Sister Afia says she had to quit her professional job which is nursing in the UK to pursue her real passion and calling in this life thus music in Ghana.
The 23-year old told Pulse Gh that, she has plans of operating a restaurant and a Shisha Lounge down here alongside building her music career.
She established that, since she has her certificates handy and intact, she can always set up a hospital in the new future which would capitalise on helping kids.
“I was a nurse but now I think I’ve paused on the nursing. I’m working on my own restaurant and shisha lounge so small small. It is in Ghana. It has to be here.”
“It (Nursing) wasn’t something that I was happy doing. Like it was something, even though it’s nice to help people, that’s not where my field was. I just felt I had to do what I love best and that is music. I still can help anybody so far as I got my degree and certificates. I can still open my hospital in Ghana and help kids.”
Sister Afia hit the limelight in 2015 with her hit song ‘Krokro No’ which featured rapper, Kofi Kinaata. We can also credit the hit song “Jeje” to her which features our dancehall king, Shatta Wale.
