Villa Monticello’s Awards

With boutique hotels now raking in as much business as the towering, larger chains, the question begs what experience are guests afforded that gravitates them towards these establishments?
Villa Monticello invited GhanaCelebrities.Com to celebrate the unveiling of their 2017 World Travel Awards and we took the opportunity to tour the award-winning luxury suites, dining, meeting and conferencing facilities.
The 16 suite hotel boasts of 3 private dining rooms, a wine cellar, fitness center and fountain-front open-air terrace lounge that is reminiscent of an Italian courtyard.
Lavishly furnished to fit themes from across the globe, each room offers a unique escape from the rapid pace of the Metropolis. From Bamboo stems and room dividers to crushed velvet pillows, to urban faux brick tiling to Victorian bathtubs, Villa Monticello suites speak to many of the comforts of one’s indulgence.

With particular interest in the “Nzulezu” Suite, we were immediately submerged in a transient journey through elements aptly captured to give you a feel of the waters of the Western Region. Complimentary fruit platters are enjoyed each evening as the open curtains present canvas to enjoy the dancing sunset.
The canopied, 4-post Oak bed dressed with textured fabrics is the epitome comfort and a haven for two to enjoy. Guests lodging in the “Nzulezu” Suite have enough space to enjoy an extended stay as it is outfitted with a kitchenette and fully stocked complimentary minibar.

It is without being said that we enjoyed our visit to Villa Monticello, truly a hidden haven in the Airport Residential Area. If the hospitality we were met with speaks for the service when staying overnight then CHEERS are definitely in order.
Our evening ended with copious amounts of wine from the wine cellar and compliments of exquisite finger foods. After 2 hours of networking in the courtyard and a chance to meet the Head Chef, we called in a night at Villa Monticello, we will definitely be back!
