A 50 year old woman from the U.S State of Virginia has been fired from her job after she flipped off the President of the United States, Donald Trump, during a cycling run.
Juli Briskman was cycling when Trump’s motorcade moved beside her and she extended her middle finger to the President in his car.
A picture of her action was taken by a White House photographer and went viral, leading to her employers firing her.
Briskman used the viral photo as her profile picture and her company, the US government contractor Akima, fired her for violating its social media policies against posting obscene materials.
Briskman revealed Trump was returning from his golf course in the motorcade when she took her action.
“He was passing by and my blood just started to boil,” she told the Huffington Post. “I’m thinking, Daca recipients are getting kicked out. He pulled ads for open enrollment in Obamacare. Only one third of Puerto Rico has power. I’m thinking, he’s at the damn golf course again.
“I flipped off the motorcade a number of times.”
According to her, she has no regrets giving Trump the middle finger and that she would now look for a new job working for causes she believes in.
