The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo has recognised the excellent contributions Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, boss of Zoomlion and Chairman of Jospong Group of Companies is making toward the growth of Ghana–and has said he should take courage to continue.
Addressing Management and Staff of the Accra Compost and Recycling Plant Waste Transfer Station as well as a gathering of Chiefs and People of Adjen Kotoku, during the Second day of his three-day working tour of the Greater Accra Region, President Akufo Addo asked Dr Joseph Siaw Agyepong to stay focus with his several business modules.
He added that Joseph Siaw Agyepong shouldn’t allow controversies to distract him. He said it’s only natural that ‘when you are at the forefront of doing things, you will be the subject of controversy.’
In a statement, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong mentioned among others that the President’s visit to the integrated waste processing plant gives a strong indication of his government’s commitment to employing science and technology to identify the most economical and efficient ways of dealing with urban waste.
