Lawyer Maurice Ampaw says founder and leader of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, is not fit to be President of Ghana.
According to the controversial lawyer, Nduom is a businessman and not a politician and therefore, is not equipped to be President.
Ampaw, who recently claimed he would leave Ghana if a woman ever became President, said people who become President are born to it and that it’s not in Nduom’s destiny.
“…PPP’s founder Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom is not a presidential material, he has been contesting for two consecutive times, but he didn’t make any inroads. He is good at being a minister and managing businesses. No one can take his business skills from him, [but] to be at the presidency is by birth.” he said on Abusua Fm.
“Everybody has his/her God given talent. The presidential materials include: former Presidents Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, J.J Rawlings, J.A Kuffour, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. John Dramani Mahama was lucky to climb to the presidency when the late J.E A Mills died”.
Ampaw added that he plans to run in 2024 since there would be no suitable Presidential candidates around.
