"President Akufo-Addo Should Beg Me Before I Can Accept Any Appointment" — Maurice Ampaw

blank
The deputy clown-in-chief of the Ghanaian media landscape, Maurice Ampaw, says he would only take an appointment from the government if the President personally begs him.
An egoistic Ampaw claims he has received an offer from the government but turned it down because he did not want to be involved.
Speaking on Abusua Fm however, he says there is one condition on which he would agree to serve in the Akufo-Addo government.
“President Akufo-Addo should beg me before I can accept any appointment. Working for the country is a service, so if I am to serve the country, the President should come forward to beg me by writing an application letter asking me to serve in his government,’ he said.
Ampaw added that the appointment he would love is to be head of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE).
