Asempa FM presenter KABA had received admission to commence his master degree studies a few weeks before his death, it has been revealed.
Chief Operating Officer of the Multimedia Group, Kenneth Ansah, revealed whilst speaking at the presenter’s memorial service that he had approached his bosses to inform them about this new challenge he was taking on in his life.
“It was barely four weeks ago when I sat here with KABA. He  came to me said he has some forms to sign so I asked him what it was and  he said it was some admission forms to pursue a masters degree…..we laughed over it.” Ansah revealed at the memorial service held for KABA on Monday.
“I was here with Okraku Mantey and some others. He asked he would bring it the following day but I said don’t worry, you bring it we would sign it  here so that tomorrow  you can submit it and take that course”, he said.
Unfortunately, KABA passed away soon after, on Saturday, and was unable to complete the course. The presenter died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, although the cause of death has yet to be established.
