William Masvinu roared back to win the 2017 edition of Zimbabwe’s Mr Ugly competition, reclaiming the crown he lost last year.
Masvinu beat Fanuel Musekiwa to the crown, picking up the $500 cash prize and a cow.
“No one can dispute that I am the ugliest person in Zimbabwe.” said Masvinu after his win. “I now want to take my ugliness outside the country. If there is Mr Ugly World, I am confident I will bring the crown to Zimbabwe,”
Masvinu is now a five time Mr Ugly in his home country, a feat which has made him as much a celebrity as the most famous musicians and actors in the country.
