In the heat and wake of struggling musician, Tic Tac, walking out off a live interview on GhOne TV, a lot of people especially industry insiders have lambasted him for such an act of disrespect.
Others also believe that the TV station should have known better by not playing visuals of Shatta Wale’s video in the background while Tic Tac was there to promote his own songs and brand.
As usual, everyone was expecting Shatta Wale to react negatively to the issue but he disappointed people by jumping on to the defence of Tic Tac via a Facebook post indicating that Tic Tac did exactly what he has been preaching about media houses disrespecting artistes.
“I think Tictac really made the best move ever. This is what I have been talking about. We should respect an artiste when he is your studios or on phone talking. How can you be asking about Shatta wale whilst Tic Tac is there. My plan is working. Ghana artiste lets free ourselves from the timidity and fear…we can do this ..but yo tictac tell your colleagues ,you people sleep too much..wake up !!! #changeiscoming,” Shatta Wale posted.
But Tic Tac responding to Shatta Wale’s post said that he was not surprised about the childish and funny post by Shatta Wale. Tic Tac said this on Happy FM’S Showbiz Xtra on Saturday.
“We all know he plays too much. This is another disrespect. These are all part of his machinations. For me, that’s just like a sarcastic approach to the whole issue. He should just be careful with those things. I don’t want to be in that game with him,” he warned!
