Nigerian singer Burna Boy, who turned himself into police last Friday and spent the weekend behind bars, was arraigned before court Monday in the robbery case against him.
Burna Boy appeared before a Lagos High Court and was charged alongside his four alleged accomplices.
The dancehall star is accused of sending a gang to rob fellow singer Mr 2Kay whilst he was residing at a hotel in Lagos. Some of the arrested robbers pointed to Burna Boy as the mastermind behind the whole ploy.
At his court hearing, the singer requested and was granted bail in the sum of 100,000 Naira.
The case was subsequently adjourned till December 29th, 2017.
