A fourth suspect has been arrested by police in the Ashanti Region as the investigations into the gang rape case in the metropolis continues.
The suspect, whose identity is being kept under wraps like the others, was in hiding in Accra but turned himself to police Wednesday.
His arrest brings to four the number of suspects picked up in the case so far, with 3 believed to be at large.
The seven teens, JHS and SHS students, were seen in a leaked video gang raping a teenage girl who was being forcefully held down by one of them.
The video sparked outrage and the police immediately responded, revealing they had already picked up 3 suspects in the case.
The 3 have been remanded into police custody over the holiday period and are set to reappear in court on Wednesday, December 27.
