The year 2017 was a good year for some top Ghanaian artistes even though there were a lot of controversies and ‘beefs’ but in all, it was a good year. Most of the artistes released great tunes and albums.
Sarkodie released the ‘Highest’, Stonebwoy released ‘Epistles of Mama’, Shatta Wale recorded 107 songs and Becca celebrated her 10th anniversary in ShowBiz.
Captain of the Ghana Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan at the 8th Edition of LEADseries, a mentorship program hosted by Jay Foley at Accra Mall, disclosed to patrons his top three most consistent Ghanaian artistes.
Asamoah Gyan said, ‘‘For this year 2017, those who have been very consistent and honestly I am being real are Livingstone Etse Satekla (Stonebwoy), Michael Owusu Addo (Sarkodie), Samini and Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr (Shatta Wale).’’

According to Asamoah Gyan, there are a lot of good songs that have been produced and released, ‘‘we all dance to it, which is good….. but talking about consistency, these Ghanaian artiste stands out for me’’.
