Comedians often get away with the repercussions of serious issues when they trivialize it and that is exactly what comedian DKB has done.
A two-year-old video of comedian DKB mocking television licence fees collectors has popped in the wake and heat of the recent television licence fees controversy.
In the video, the comedian is captured mocking the officers who will be in charge of the television licence fees collection.
The video dated back to 2016 during his performance at ‘Point of View’ show, the comedian is captured sarcastically educating officers on the challenges they were likely to face in their daily collection in communities with different backgrounds and ethnicities.
DKB started off with a Fante community and stated that officers will face no problem since Fantes are known to be ‘fearos’ and they will gladly bring out the money to pay without questioning.
He then proceeded to Gas and indicated that Gas are aggressive and always ready to defend themselves whether at home or in the law court with weird reasons not to pay the fees.
In Fadama, he said officers would have to be paid four times their salaries due to the dangers they are likely to encounter in that community.
