Young Ghanaian actor, Rahim Banda has disclosed that he is yet to be detailed on his job specifications as an ambassador for the government’s Free SHS policy.
The young actor who came into limelight with movies such as ‘The Mask’ and ‘Masters of the Game’ disclosed this to Andy Dosty during an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM’s Daybreak show.
“My management team and Ministry of Education are now engaging each other to know what their plans are; the ministry’s plans so that I can get my blueprints and start work,” Rahim said.
Rahim Banda’s disclosure of his no knowledge on his job description compelled pundits on the show to have an opinion that the Free SHS education was rushed without due scrutiny on the side of the government.
Obviously, the young actor had not been given details on his responsibilities as an ambassador for the policy hence his answer.
His father who happens to be his manager, Mr Ahmed Banda (Bandex) indicated that Rahim should be given time in order to be able to study his responsibilities as an ambassador of the policy.
“If you look at the rate of unemployment and illiteracy in the country, it is really high, we are looking to curb that. We are looking to giving back to society,” he concluded.
