Actress Vicky Zugah who has suffered more relationship abuse than any Ghanaian actress has opened up on her various abuses and said she is now scared of men.
Vicky Zugah sometime back came out boldly to mention names of men who subjected her to severe beatings during their relationship, the list included, DJ Cash, actor Leo Mensah and Sierra Leone’s Adrian Bolt Lewis of Big Brother Africa–The Chase.
Vicky Zugah who seems to have lost appetite in any relationship disclosed to Showbiz about how scared she is to give her heart to another man again.
The actress said, “I cannot tell who a genuine man is due to my past experiences.
I have had a lot of men proposing to me but the truth is, I am very scared of them.”
She added that even though she feels lonely sometimes but it is better for her to stay single than to be in an abusive relationship.
“The abuse really affected me and I don’t want to repeat it. I cried a lot when I was alone because my work, family and every other thing was affected,” Vicky said.
Vicky Zugah further stated that she will do a lot of background checks on any man who asks her out before accepting him.

“Some men can pretend to be who they are not and unfortunately for me, I am someone who easily falls for guys who show me a lot of affection,” she stated.
Responding to a question on her kind of man, she said:
“I don’t know what it is with dark men but I am really attracted to them. It usually doesn’t take a long time for dark men to win me over.”

She touched on the progress of her violence against women campaign by saying:
“It’s amazing the kind of response I get anytime I reach out to people about the campaign. Some of the stories I hear baffles me.”
