In the most interesting news of the day, an Assembly man in Ghana has reportedly been arrested for defecating in the open.
Samuel Cleran, Assemblyman of Sirbir Aweine Electoral area at Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrimin in the Central Region, was picked up at a beach in his own area.
According to adomonline, Environmental Health Officers in the area were performing routine checks at the beach when they discovered the Assemblyman easing himself.
He was arrested on the spot.

Municipal Health Officer Alex Kwame Demtey, who led the team to effect the arrest, expressed shock at the incident since the assemblyman had played a vital role in formulating plans to tackle open defecation in the municipality.
Demtey said the assemblyman would be arraigned before sanitary court to answer for his actions.
