‘Jennifer Lomotey’ hitmaker, Kurl Songx has revealed that his monthly salary was Ghc90 before his breakthrough in the music industry.
Kurl Songx who came into limelight with ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ featuring Sarkodie said that he was a primary school teacher before he came into music.
Kurl Songx added that life was hell for him after Senior High School and did anything that fetched him money since he was a breadwinner.
He went on to indicate that he will always love and cherish her mom because she sold a lot of her belongings to take care of him in school even though his dad was alive.

On the question of whether he knew ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ would be a hit song, Kurl Songx said, “I never taught I would gain that exposure. I knew I would get somewhere but I was much dumbfounded.”
Kurl Songx on ‘Delay Show’ with Deloris Frimpong Manso thanked BET Award Winner, Sarkodie for helping to make the song a hit in the country.

He concluded that getting Sarkodie to feature on his song was a privilege.
