Actress Lydia Forson has currently been in the news for allegedly being assaulted by a security officer. It has generated a lot of controversies in the country with some lambasting the actions of the security officer for such an inhumane treatment.
The incident which happened on Monday while on set at a film location, saw the actress engaging in a verbal argument with an unknown security officer in a video which the actress posted on social media shortly.
Lydia Forson in a new video which she posted on Facebook has corrected what she called as twisted reportage of what exactly occurred.
According to Lydia Forson, permission was sought and granted before shooting at the said location and saw no reason why the security officer confronted them on the said location.

Lydia Forson explaining what actually happened said:
“He pounced on me three times saying that he will beat me…saying I will slap you,” she alleged.
“I know people really want me to be beaten up in Ghana but I’m sorry to disappoint you, the time has not come yet. But I know you were really hoping that it was true that he had slapped my face, thankfully my skin is still glowing and I’m good,” she concluded.
