Self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale who was officially unveiled as a new signee of Zylofon Media detailed how his signature got on the contract sheet of Zylofon Media.
Shatta Wale in a short speech during his official unveiling shared with media personnel present on how he came into contact with the boss of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah and how he got him to append his signature on the white paper of Zylofon Media.
According to Shatta Wale, it all started when he went out to cool down with some ice cream after working in the studio for hours, he realized he was feeling dizzy while driving so he parked his car somewhere to vomit.

Shatta Wale continued that he went out with a different car without a customized registered plate in order to avoid fans running after him. As he was forcing himself to vomit, a gentleman stepped out from a car and walked up to him to find out exactly what was wrong with him.
Interestingly, the gentleman who spotted and bought some drugs for him happened to be Nana Appiah Mensah, the CEO of Zylofon Media.
Shatta Wale indicated that they started talking on the phone after that incident until Nana Appiah Mensah finally surprised him with the Zylofon offer.
Shatta Wale concluded that he knows some Ghanaians will think it’s a “cock and bull” story but said it’s a true story.
