Ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has rubbished rumours that he’s a ghost or a spirit, asserting that he’s human like the rest of us.
The journalist has been notoriously effective as an undercover agent, exposing numerous crime rings in the country and as usual, Ghanaians have already ascribed supernatural explanations as accounting for his success.
In a logical country people would just accept Anas as simply being damn good at his job, and not run to the supernatural as us Ghanaians are always wont to do.
Anyway, during a recent speech with media professionals, he debunked the assertion that he’s not fully human.
”I am not a spirit. I am here in person and flesh.” he said.

Anas also aid what bugs him most about Ghana is that he can do a story about corruption and the perpetrators would still be walking around freely.
“If I do a story about you, my aim is not for you to sit in your bedroom and read the story but it should put you behind bars. That is journalism”, he said.
“…There is nothing as painful as doing a story and the people you target eventually get that strength and walk on the streets. It is a bigger danger to you than anything else” he opined.
