The passing of Ebony Reigns has left Ghanaians in shock as it literally came out of the blue.
There hasn’t been an artist dominating the airwaves like Ebony the past year and in one moment, she’s just gone.
Almost every Ghanaian can’t believe this news and that includes public figures.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo took to twitter to react to the news, expressing shock at the passing of the very talented songstress.
“Saddened by the news of the death of the young, but extremely talented female artiste, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, aka Ebony Reigns.” the President wrote.
“By all accounts, she had a very promising music career. My deepest condolences to her family, and to the families of the two others who died in the tragic accident. #RIPEbony”

Former President Mahama also chimed in, revealing that ‘Maame Hw3’ was his favourite song.
