Citi Fm’s veteran broadcast journalist Jessica Opare Saforo has lost her mum.


Jessica revealed the sad news through a series of social media posts mourning the loss.

Mrs Felicia Opare Saforo, 70 years of age, died at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra on Monday after losing a long battle against cancer.

“Mom! Thank you for all your sacrifices. You left me today but I know you are in a better place! I’ll always love you.” Jessica wrote on Facebook.

Mrs Felicia Saforo is survived by four children, including Jessica.

She was a retired teacher who founded the Bridge of Hope Preparatory School in Adenta.
