My Daughter Wouldn't Have Died If The Contractor Had Sped Up Work — Ebony's Mom

Mother of the late Ebony, Madam Beatrice Oppong Martin has taken some time to visit the scene of the accident that took the life of her daughter.
Madam Beatrice who is yet to recover from the pain caused by her daughter’s sudden demise pulled herself together to have a feel of how the accident took her beloved daughter’s life. She was seen in the company of the Ashanti Regional Security Council.

Ebony Reigns together with her friend, Franky Kuri and her bodyguard, Atsu Vondee died at the spot when the car they were travelling in collided head-on with a VIP bus on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway.

Ebony’s black Jeep vehicle with registration number AS 497-16 was beyond recognition after the gory accident. Rescuers had to cut through the roof of the vehicle to remove the bodies of Ebony and her friend, Franky Kuri.
Madam Beatrice Oppong Martin who came from the United Kingdom not too long ago pleaded with contractors in charge of the road construction to speed up work to avoid another accident.

“I appeal to the government, head of institutions and the road contractors across the country to do their works with due diligence to avoid unnecessary accidents that claim lives on our roads. If the contractor on this road (the spot of the accident) has sped up work, my daughter might not have died,” she added.
