Ghanaians Misunderstood Ebony's Brand — Sarkodie

SarkCess Music boss, Sarkodie has said that the late dancehall diva, Ebony through her music inspired and empowered women.
The BET Award-winner added that Ghanaians misunderstood Ebony and spread all sort of rumours about her when she was alive.

Sarkodie in an interview with Akosua Konadu, host of ‘The Hard Truth’ show said:
“the good thing is she is actually using that in a positive light. She is empowering women. She is using some of the music to inspire as well.

“..I think its art and it’s business. That’s her strategy and that’s what works for her. People tend to miss the message of what artistes stand for, what they are trying to do.”
Ebony Reigns died in a fatal car accident at Mankranso in the Ashanti Region when her car collided head-on with a VIP bus on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway.
She died with her alleged lesbian partner, Franky Kuri and a military man, Atsu Vondee who served as her bodyguard.

Ebony came into limelight when she released her song ‘Kupe’ which was followed by a couple hit songs.
She was highly criticised for her offensive fashion style as well as her style of performance.
