This is the kind of bullsh*t you invite when you have a country where everyone places premium on ‘spiritual’ revelations and ‘prophecy’ and things that are in no other way verifiable.
In such an environment, lunacy such as this claim from Eagle Prophet is then seriously considered by a large part of the populace because they hold belief in some revelations, no matter how absurd they sound.
Now what happened in the video was a disgusting event, carried out by a mortuary official who acted with impunity. What can be done is to investigate the incident and punish him for breaking whatever laws of this nation his actions breached.
What can not be done is attribute some ‘spiriuial’ motives to this action with no evidence to back that up.
But alas, this is our beloved homeland Ghana. According to Reindolph Oduro Gyebi, popularly known as Eagle Prophet, the video we’ve all seen has a spiritual meaning behind it.
The prophet was speaking on Hot Fm Thursday and according to him, the video was filmed and leaked by a member of Ebony’s family who had to to do that as part of a spiritual direction.
The purpose of the whole exercise, the prophet claims, is because the family member is part of those who killed Ebony and they are taking steps to ‘tie’ her spirit and ensure she cannot take revenge.
“Nobody should blame the mortuary attendant. The video was released by somebody close to her, the issue is a highly spiritual matter.” the Prophet said.
“The ghost of Ebony will haunt some people because someone close to her wants to tie her soul as part of the requirements to prevent the ghost of the girl from doing what she has to do. So the police should stop looking for the mortuary attendant he is not to blame for the video.” Eagle prophet claimed.
“I have personally seen this girl in my vision for more than 14 times trying to send a message across so I urge the family to seek for answers in the spiritual realm.” he added.
