Any Politician Who Loots State Funds Must Be Executed — A Plus Replies Joe Osei Owusu

First Deputy speaker of Parliament Joe Osei Owusu has been in the news in recent days after he made controversial comments in relation to the mandate security agencies should be given in the fight against galamsey.

Osei Owusu, taking a hard line stance, said that the security agencies should be given a shoot to kill mandate to serve as a deterrent to people to stay away from galamsey.

In response, A Plus has proposed that politicians who engage in corrupt acts should be the ones killed in the country instead of people who are merely trying to feed their families.

Writing on Facebook, Kwame Asare Obeng argued: “I also propose That we should start shooting to kill politicians who steal our money. That is the only way to deter criminal politicians from engaging in that act. When it hungry people trying to earn a living they must be shot without trial. When it’s a politician we must wait for the special prosecutor because they are special. Nonsense man!!!”
