The Portuguese International footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos, popularly called CR7, the world’s best footballer may end his football journey in jail over a tax defrauding case.
The 33-year-old forward liner who plays his professional football at Real Madrid initially denied the charges against him and insisted he has done nothing wrong.
However, his lawyers finally agreed that Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos defrauded €14.7 million of tax since 2011 to 2014.
His lawyers offered a settlement of €3.8 million but the Spanish tax Authorities rejected because it was not enough.
The Authorities are rather demanding from him €25 million, failing to pay will result in an imprisonment.
