Ghanaian Highlife musician, Bisa K’dei has disclosed that he filed for nominations at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards but his name was nowhere to be found when the list of nominees was released.
Bisa K’dei in an interview with Maxwell Amoofia on Joy News expressed his disappointments for not getting nominations at the 2018 VGMAs.
He said:
“I did file for the nomination but…I have been disappointed since.”
Bisa K’dei who thinks the 2016 ‘Artiste of the Year’ crown was snatched from him added that:
“Everybody was saying [I should have won the Artiste of the Year] I thought I should have gotten something”.
The ‘Mansa’ hitmaker concluded by saying:
“There is better luck next time. Next year is there. I am going to try my best to hard to work so that I’ll be there next year”.
The 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards comes off this Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
