Ace investigative journalist Anas Arimiyao Anas is back with a bang to shock the entire nation as usual with his latest investigative piece. The documentary is dubbed “Number 12” and is set to be premiered at the Accra International Conference Centre on June 6, 2018. Fliers of the latest undercover expose which have already gone viral indicate that a large number of politicians who have contributed in wreaking havoc to the country are about to have their asses exposed.
“Number 12” will be screened in Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale between 9th and 16th June to give residents in these parts who will not be able to attend the grand premiere at the Accra International Conference Centre the opportunity to witness and appreciate the efforts of the undercover investigator who also doubles as a layer. Anas Arimiyao has vowed to “name, shame and jail” corrupt people who commit atrocities and milk the country dry under the cover of darkness and is unperturbed by naysayers who attempt to discredit his works by criticizing him and believes everyone is entitled to their opinion. Their opinions, however, will not stop him from doing the work he does so well.
Earlier this year in Bolgatanga during the National Media Festival organized by the Press foundation, Anas indicated that people who were going to be fingered in this upcoming expose were going to attempt to flee the country in order to avoid the shame and embarrassment that is inevitably coming their way and urged the security agencies to increase surveillance in the coming months ahead of the release of “Number 12”. He refused to give further information about the piece but stated that it would make the year more challenging and difficult, if not interesting.
“There will be a lot of dangers this year. It will not be easy so I advise we should increase our security”, he said. The details of who and who are involved remain known only to him, but he ventured to say that a number of people in enviable positions were going to lose their jobs. “And now about the most challenging work that I’ve done, as I speak to you now I’ve some 60 people and I’m not going to tell you what I’m going to do but it is there…It is coming and none of the 60 people have done anything good for Ghana,” he revealed.
