Akuma Mama Zimbi as popularly called has advised young ladies waiting on men to ask them out or propose marriage to them to forget about that archaic mentality and propose to the men they love.
According to the popular radio/TV presenter, she sees nothing wrong with a lady proposing marriage to the man she loves.
Akuma Mama Zimbi speaking on Bola Ray’s StarrChat show on Starr FM said:
“Yes! Women can propose marriage to men as well… It’s very important. There’s absolutely nothing wrong if a woman proposes to a man. When my husband met me, he proposed and I told him, I’ve heard but as time goes on, I told him I love you more. When a person tells you ‘I love you’ doesn’t mean he has married you.”
She explained that the Ghanaian culture is such a way that it prohibits women from proposing to the men they deeply love–women are tagged cheap, promiscuous, desperate and all sort of names if they dare try to ask or propose marriage to men.

She concluded that s*x plays an important role in marriages and for that matter couples should never shy away from such conversations.
