'King Promise' Nana Akufo-Addo Is Turning Out To Be Just Another Version Of John Mahama — Chris-Vincent

blank
Founding Editor of GhanaCelebrities.Com, Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri, has called out President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo following recent comments he passed about the University of Ghana.
President Nana Akufo-Addo had passed comments to the effect that the University of Ghana was founded by his uncle, the late J.B Danquah, and coming on the heels of the renaming of the University of Professional Studies after its founder, it was speculated that the government could be considering renaming the university after J.B Danquah.
That, coupled with the recent renaming of the Flagstaff House and other own goals scored by government in recent months, led Chris-Vincent to take on the President, who he admitted to having campaigned for.
Accoridng to Chris, the kind of governance the NPP are giving Ghanaians now is not what was expected when John Mahama was kicked out.

Akufo-Addo was seen as a man of integrity and principle but for and all intents and purposes, he’s turning out no better than Mahama.
He wrote…
I campaigned for President Akufo Addo–some were paid gigs and others, I did for free because I believed in him.
I believed the Mahama-led government was a joke, incompetent at best and ridiculous at worst.
My campaign for Nana Addo and the NPP which I believe was the same for many was of hope–that he was going to deliver on the various promises.

Now Vice President Bawumia “wowed” us with his big Economies’ talks and slogan to arrest the dollar. Today, he’s missing in action as the dollar smugly smiles on the race track.
I hate to accept Nana Addo’s new name, King Promise but it seems that’s what the great man has become.
What’s even more ridiculous is the type of politics or governance he seems to have fallen on– cheap political rhetorics, renaming of institutions and buildings.
Ghanaians voted for you, Nana Addo, not just because of a lousy FREE SHS. But because we were convinced you are a man of integrity who would for the first time in Ghana’s history put Ghana first, before pettiness and absurd party politics.
Renaming the Jubilee House, even if the NDC caused it, is one of such pettiness which cost Ghanaian taxpayers money.
The University of Ghana needs help. What we call a prime University in Ghana is a joke per any western country’s standard. And yet you are worried about who founded it or what’s the right name for the University?
Nana Addo, no one voted you into power for these things– because as for these, Mahama could have done them all easily.
Probably, Ghana is doomed since our best shot is turning out to be like everyone we’ve called bad and John Mahama hovers around as the only alternative.
I left Ghana to the UK today, and it feels like I have time travelled from the 4th Century to the 21st Century.
Your people don’t need this, King Promise!
