Mercy Twum-Ampofo known in the showbiz circles as Ohemaa Mercy has gone all out for those who have deviated from the supposed natural and normal way of having s*x.
The gospel musician says homos*xuals need all the love in this world. They should not be treated with contempt and disdain— rather they should be talked to because only the power of God is capable of saving them.

Speaking with Bola Ray on Starr Chat, she said:
“It takes God for one to be delivered from homosexuality. We need to bring those in homosexuality closer to us and talk them out.”
However, she spoke against the legalisation of the act. Said it should be condemned to the latter as Ghanaians must and should not accept this bit of civilisation.
“The call to legalise homosexuality, LGBT, by some leaders of the Western world must be seen as neo-colonialism and must be condemned at the highest level. We do not accept this as an aspect of civilisation.
“Africans must see ourselves as people who are matured and know what is good for us and our people. The church in Ghana will continue to reject and oppose this and we are prepared to demonstrate against this if pressure continues to mount on our leaders,”
