Yesterday, Sunday, May 13 was Mother’s Day and we all got ourselves soaked in emotions, recounting all the moments we have shared with our mothers.
The day has long been over but we are celebrating our mothers throughout the entire month of May. That is how special mothers are to a lot of us.

Nigeria’s finest Tonto Dikeh is still in the celebration mood and has penned a long soul lifting message on all that one goes through as a mother.
Herself a mother who has not had it on a platter of gold, we can say we expected this from her. She wrote:
“You most likely did not choose this life. You probably did not expect to be a mother, promising yourself you wouldn’t be like your own mother or another. Maybe you didn’t expect to raise a child alone, Or figure out life alone.”
