It could be recalled somewhere in March 2018 that rapper E.L disclosed in an interview with Giovanni Caleb that all his efforts to get Sarkodie for a collaboration have yielded no fruits.
Rapper E.L said in the interview that as to the reason why Sarkodie has refused to answer his numerous calls and text messages, he cannot tell but still waiting for him to return his calls and text messages.
But Sarkodie on his version of Jaden Smiths’s ‘Icons’ seems to have replied E.L judging from some of the ‘punchlines’ of the freestyle.
A ‘punchline’ in Sarkodie’s rap went like; “mo fake suban nti, I no dey like calls picking because of your fake character, I don’t like answering your calls”.
It is obvious Sarkodie wants to send a message to E.L about his fake character if the ‘punchline’ is anything to go by.
