A company based in Nigeria is set to sue the veteran boxer Floyd Mayweather to ‘cough’ back their money.
Zinni Media which alleges it made a reservation for Mayweather to make appearances in Nigeria and Ghana in June 2017 for the sum of $375,000.
The company says it forced Mayweather to make a video confirming the appearances. They claim to have wired him $210,000 in advance but Mayweather breached the agreement days before the event.
In the lawsuit documents, Zinni is claiming that Floyd’s management team offered to reschedule the date and add more appearances to the list but, he also raised the price to $550,000. Zinni claims they were told they could use the $210,000 they advanced toward the new booking price.
