In serious countries where brands care about their reputation and do not want to be associated with tainted goods, any artist with half the antics of Shatta Wale would be bleeding sponsors on a daily basis.
To maintain a brand’s reputation they would be willing to cut their losses with morally objectionable stars – it’s happened to numerous artists from Tiger Woods to more recently, Roseanne Barr.
However, Shatta Wale has been doing the worst he can for the past five or six years since he returned to the scene and no company has had the gall to drop him.
Recently after he posted a video of himself receiving a BJ a campaign was started for Kasapreko, whose Storm Energy Drink has a massive endorsement deal with him, to drop him as a client.

However, they have since refused to do so and recently during the unveiling of Nana Ama McBrown as a brand ambassador a company rep explained that they can’t drop Shatta Wale because he has increased sales of their product.
Basically that’s all that counts.
