Before John Dumelo got married to Gifty Mawunya numerous stories came out about a lady John was dating who he jilted to marry his new wife.
Legend had it that John was forced to marry Mawunya after getting her in the family way and that he was dating another lady at the time who he had to dump.
It has emerged that James Gardiner’s sister was dating Dumelo and he later did a u-turn on her and married Gifty Mawunya.

At the recent wedding of actress Bibi Bright, Gardiner confirmed that his sister was indeed dating John Dumelo in the past.
According to him he knows they were dating but as to what happened between them before his sister was swerved he has no idea and does not want to know.
Gardiner told MzGee that they are both adults and what happened between them should stay between them.
