I can confidently say that the Federick Amanor, the policeman who brutalised the nursing mother, Patience Sarfo at the banking hall of Midland Savings and Loans is doomed!
Now, President of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo via his official Twitter handle has added his voice to the brutalization of Patience Sarfo by the police officer, Federick Amanor.
Obviously, the president after watching the video couldn’t hold but to speak on the issue — the issue of policeman brutalizing citizens instead of protecting them.
The president from all indications is fed up with the rampant terrorisation of citizens by policemen.
The president in a tweet indicated that policemen are trained to protect civilians and not assault them and that he is 100% in support of whatever punishment given to the Federick Amanor by the IGP and his officials.
The president tweeted;
“Policemen are meant to protect citizens, and not to assault citizens. The measures that the IGP has taken to sanction the erring policeman, and to make sure these things don’t happen again, have my complete support. I support 100% the measures he has taken so that we can stop these incidents from proliferating”.
