Self-acclaimed Dancehall king, Shatta Wale has asked event organisers wanting to book him to perform outside Ghana to contact the President of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo for approval.
Shatta Wale wants to tell us that the President is now his manager or what?
He explained that since Nana Addo has banned all his Ministers from travelling outside the country, any promoter who wants him [Shatta Wale] to perform outside Ghana should seek the president’s approval first ─ but is Shatta Wale is Minister? Dude is obviously on some “Wee”.
Shatta Wale who obviously wants to trend took to his Twitter handle and posted;
“Only the president of Ghana approves my shows outside Ghana cos he says we the ministers can’t travel outside without approval …So please if you want to book me..Flagstaff house straight. I don’t want to lose my job Daddy I love you @NAkufoAddo”.
As far as Ghana is concerned, Nana Addo has not appointed Shatta Wale for any Ministerial role so for him to post the above raises eyebrows.
Well, we’ll treat it as one of his boring jokes.
