Not long ago we reported about the youth in the Awutu Senya Constituency that they want to make the CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1 as their undisputed Member of Parliament in their constituency.
We also reported that a few hours after this news reached the business mogul, he quickly tweeted to deny his political ambitions.

However, there has also been news circulating on various media channels which according to NAM1, the news originated from 4syte TV indicating that he, NAM1 will be contesting as president in the coming 2020 general election.
In responding to this, NAM1 took to his official Instagram and labelled the news as 100% FAKE.

“My attention has been drawn to some fake news by 4syte TV this morning suggesting I would be running 2020 Presidential Elections.
“I wish to state that the report is false and has no basis in fact. 4syte TV made no attempt to contact me before they published the news and this is completely against the ethics of good journalism.
“For the umpteenth time, let me state that I am not interested in partisan politics. To action my decision, I have instructed our legal team to formally write to 4SyteTv to seek a retraction and an apology. This is our last effort as all attempts we have made so far to get them to retract and apologise over the fake news has proven futile.”
