Popular Kumawood actress, Kyeiwaa who after a failed marriage travelled to the United States of America is now a dishwasher according to Nana Yaa Brefo, host of Adom TV’s “Badwam” show.
Nana Yaa Brefo disclosed this during a discussion on the state of the Kumawood industry on the show with Kumawood actor, Papa Kumasi.
The discussion was based on the financial status of the industry and the well-fare of actors and actresses and actor Papa Kumasi sharing his views on the issue stated that actors and actresses of the industry are doing great financially.
The host, Nana Yaa Brefo who seemed to be on the grounds disagreed with Papa Kumasi and revealed that some actresses such as Kyeiwaa are engaged in dishwashing jobs in the states for survival.
Nana Yaa Brefo enlightening viewers on what Kumawood actress, Kyeiwaa does for a living in the United States questioned Papa Kumasi that;

“If your industry is well and Kumawood stars are well paid, why would Kyeiwaa relocates to the US, where she now sells food and clean dishes for survival”.
Currently, the Ghanaian movie industry is experiencing serious challenges and this could be the reason behind Kyeiwaa’s migration to the United States in search of greener pastures.
