We cannot immediately tell if other countries are also burdened with the self-defined feminists who sit on social media to display their raw dumbness but we can tell for a fact that we have a lot of them in this country.

Our people have given a different definition when it comes to who a feminist is and what the whole movement curtails. More often than not, we are made to believe feminists are women coming from one bitter end, heartbreaks and women who have had a not so good encounter with men and as that channelling all of their lividity on men.
The truth, however, remains only one—feminist goes beyond the borders of sitting one social media platform and goofing on matters of no relevance. That is not why we are here today.

Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has stated in an interview Women and Hollywood her stance on feminism and she says she is for the movement. According to the actress who recently joined the Real Estate Business, she said:
“I’m a proud feminist who embraces her femininity. I feel sometimes women are made to feel self-conscious and ashamed of their womanhood. Perhaps like “Wonder Woman,” we may wake up one day to discover that it is our superpower, and then we would be unstoppable.”
Adding that Patty Jenkins’ “Wonder Woman.” It was powerful and strong, and at the same time, feminine and sexy.
