Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo known in the music circles as Sarkodie has revealed why he sometimes delays featuring people on their songs.
Most of the Ghanaian artistes and even an Ivorian music legend, Fred Meiway have complained that when a song is sent to the Sarkcess music boss for a collaboration, he delays too much before submitting his piece of the verse and sometimes may not even respond at all.
Reacting to this during an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz Show, Sarkodie revealed that he does not rush when songs are given to him to add his verse.
He added that sometimes he needs to be in a musical mood before he can deliver better on a song.

“I need to get my mind right to jump on a song. Some beats have been with me for like 6 years. The tone and the sound of some of them don’t deserve normal lyrics. Every line has to make sense when it comes to making a song”, he disclosed to Andy Dosty.
