The Fifa Best Player of the Year Awards was held earlier tonight and as part of the awards ceremony, the eleven best footballers on the planet were named.
The Fifa Fifpro World XI was voted for by professional footballers from around the world.
Spain and Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea was voted as the goalkeeper for the side, with the defence comprising Dani Alves, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo.
The midfield two was composed of Luka Modric and N’Golo Kante, whilst Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Eden Hazard played behind Cristiano Ronaldo to complete the list.
All but two players were on hand to receive their Fifpro plaques — Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo skipping the awards night.
