Mark Okraku Mantey, President of the Creative Arts Council of Ghana has said the headliner of Shatta Movement, Shatta Wale is not controversial as the majority of people think he is.
Speaking in an interview on Tuesday 2nd October 2018’s edition of Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Okraku Mantey stated that the Zylofon signed dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale is merely inconsistent.
“For me, Shatta Wale is not controversial, he is inconsistent. I will go with Kwaw Kesse who says Shatta says all musicians should unite yet he fights all of them.
“He is not controversial to me. For some of us, telling the truth is natural but people see us as controversial. It is how you are brought up. Our yes means yes.
“If I tell a lie, I don’t feel good because of my orientation from home. It’s where you are coming from and what you believe,” Mark told Andy Dosty.
