There was never a man so extravagant as the late ‘King of Pop’, exemplified most by his 2700 acre property dubbed ‘The Neverland Ranch’.

It was the site of so many memories for Jackson, good and bad, and it’s now for sale. According to the Wall Street Journal, the property has been listed on the market, set at $100m.

Wacko Jacko purchased the property in 1987 for $19.5m He turned it into an extravagant monument, with an amusement park and other additions.

Most of those have been removed from the now named ‘Sycamore Valley Ranch’. The amusement park, exotic animals (orang-utans and elephants), and most of all Michael Jackson’s beloved Monkey Bubbles; in its place are new bits of scenery that has turned the entire property into one grand compound.

The property spans about 2,700 acres and has about 22 structures on it- the Normandy-style main house, which sits between the property’s two lakes, measures about 12,000 square feet, with six bedrooms plus an attached staff quarters. There’s a four-bedroom guesthouse near the main home and a two-bedroom guesthouse a little farther away. There’s also a swimming pool with a cabana, a barbecue area, basketball court and a tennis court. A 50-seat movie theatre has a private viewing balcony, and a stage includes trap doors for magic shows.

All for a cool $100m.
